The Revived Hunter:
To get Zero back as a playable character, simply go into one of the sub-stages before defeating the 8 investigators or gathering 3000 Souls (see below), and defeat Zero Nightmare.
Revealing Gate:
There are three separate ways to reveal Gate's Laboratory. The first is to defeat the 8 investigators. The second is to defeat High Max in one of the sub-stages (you must have beaten Zero Nightmare first). The third is to gather 3000 Souls. Any of these work individually.
X's Ultimate Armor:
While at the Start screen, press left three times and right once, then press Start. X will start with his Ultimate Armor. This code cannot be used in addition to the Zero's Black Armor code.
Zero's Black Armor:
While at the Start screen, press L1 three times and R1 once, then press Start. Zero will start with his Black Armor. This code cannot be used in addition to the X's Ultimate Armor code.
Stealing Souls:
You can get some Souls pretty easily from Dynamo. When battling him, use the Meteor Rain with X or Ensuizan with Zero to damage him and make him give up a green Nightmare Soul. He'll do this three times. Then, defeat him and re-enter the sub-stage to face him again. The trick will not work if you die and enter the battle again. You have to defeat him and come back. Barring that, though, this can be done an infinite amount of times.
Saber Combo with X:
If you equip X with the Ultimate Buster and then go into battle with the Shadow Armor, you can do a powerful saber swipe every time without having quite the long wait of a charged shot.
VS Mode:
There is a rumor about a secret VS mode in Mega Man X6. There is code that should be put in the title screen and the mode will be revealed but no-one know the code.
