Story
Mega Man X takes place in the far future from the MegaMan series. After being discovered by Dr. Cain in a sealed capsule, Cain reads a thirty-year-old message left by Dr. Light and releases Mega Man X into the world. After being amazed by his abilities, Dr. Cain decided to build the Reploids, robot copies similar to X's design. Not long after the Reploid age begins, several of the new robots become "maverick" and threaten to take over the world. Joined by his new and mysterious partner Zero, X heads of into the battlefield, not knowing Dr. Light's purpose for creating him, but knowing that he must rid the world of all Mavericks and maintain peace - one of Dr. Light's many dreams.
